Unified liquidity. One protocol.
Clovis testnet is now live on Ethereum, Base, BSC, and Sei. Clovis is a cross-chain clearing and settlement layer for DeFi, infrastructure that unifies capital across chains so liquidity doesn't have to be fragmented across every network it touches.
Starting today, developers and users can deposit, withdraw, and bridge USDC and USDT across all four chains through a single protocol. This is Phase 1. More primitives are coming.
What's Live on Testnet

Phase 1 of testnet demonstrates the core of what Clovis does: moving capital across chains through unified infrastructure:
- Deposit — Supply USDC or USDT on any supported chain
- Withdraw — Redeem your position from any spoke chain, regardless of where you deposited
- Bridge — Transfer assets cross-chain via Clovis Transport
More features, including token locking and detailed portfolio analytics, are rolling out in the coming weeks.
Supported Chains: Ethereum, Base, BSC, Sei
Cross-Chain Messaging: Chainlink CCIP, LayerZero, Wormhole, and Axelar
Assets: USDC, USDT
The Problem
DeFi liquidity is fragmented across 400+ networks, and it's getting worse. Every new chain launches at zero liquidity, every protocol redeploys in isolation, and capital sits idle across hundreds of siloed markets. Lending, DEXs, and bridges compete for the same capital instead of sharing it.
Cross-chain protocols have tried to solve this, but most fragment the user experience with different rates per chain, separate liquidity pools per deployment, and security trade-offs that outweigh the benefits. The infrastructure to actually unify liquidity across chains doesn't exist yet.
How Clovis Works
Clovis introduces a hub-and-spoke architecture that separates accounting from settlement:
- Clearing Layer (Hub): Manages global state: balances, utilization, interest rates, and pricing curves. All accounting logic lives here.
- Settlement Layers (Spokes): Lightweight vaults on Ethereum, Base, BSC, and Sei that hold actual assets and execute locally based on hub instructions.

This separation, books on the hub and cash on the spokes, is what makes cross-chain capital coordination possible without bridging on every transaction. When you deposit USDC on Base, Clovis tracks your position globally. You can withdraw that USDC on Ethereum or BSC without waiting for a bridge. The clearing layer coordinates; the settlement layers execute.
What This Unlocks (Coming to Mainnet)

The clearing layer architecture is designed to support multiple DeFi primitives sharing the same capital base:
- Universal Rates: One interest rate model across all chains. Liquidity is pooled, utilization is shared, rates converge. No more 2% APY on one chain while another offers 4% for the same asset.
- Stacked Yields: A single deposit earning from multiple sources simultaneously: lending interest, bridging fees, vault yields.
- Efficient Rebalancing: The clearing layer minimizes actual bridging while keeping liquidity productive. When rebalancing is needed, it uses the most efficient route available.
Testnet Phase 1 demonstrates the foundational infrastructure — cross-chain deposits, withdrawals, and bridging — that makes all of this possible.
What's Next
Testnet is the first milestone. The roadmap includes:
- Clovis Vaults: Asset management layer that deploys idle capital into curated external yield strategies across protocols like Aave, Morpho, Fluid, and Venus
- Clovis Exchange: Cross-chain DEX with universal pricing and multi-yield LP positions
- Curated Markets: Isolated lending environments for specialized asset classes
Built on Proven Infrastructure
Clovis builds on the foundation of Yei Finance, the Sei-native lending protocol that reached $401M peak TVL, served 275K+ users, and generated $7.3M in protocol revenue since launch in June 2024. The team pioneered lending-boosted DEX mechanics, drove $230M+ in monthly trading volume, and processed $147M in bridge volume as the primary onboarding route for Sei.
Clovis extends this proven infrastructure across chains.
